The first occurred from July 1 to 4 and involved about 1,400 firefighters. Later, about 1,100 police officers commenced a strike on August 10. During this strike, firefighters commenced a wildcat strike on August 14. All striking ended on August 19, following an agreement with the city government and the two groups.
