The 1987 Lieyu massacre occurred on 7 March 1987 at Donggang Bay, Lieyu Island, Kinmen, Fuchien, Republic of China (ROC) when soldiers from the ROC Army's 185 Heavy Infantry Division killed 24 Vietnamese refugees on the shoreline of Donggang Bay, including eight children, five women and eleven men.
