The Wales national rugby union team toured North America in June 2005, playing test matches against the national teams of the United States and Canada. Due to the involvement of 10 Welsh players in the 2005 British & Irish Lions tour to New Zealand, the Wales squad included seven uncapped players. Centre Mark Taylor was named as captain in place of incumbent captain Colin Charvis.
