The Red Raiders stunned the Longhorns 39–33 on a last-second touchdown pass. The game appeared over on the previous play, but Texas dropped a potential interception. The game is one of the greatest upsets in the rivalry's history and was crucial in producing a three-way tie in the Big 12 at the end of the season.
