The 2010 Michigan State Spartans football team was an American football team that represented Michigan State University as a member of the Big Ten Conference during the 2010 NCAA Division I FBS football season. In their fourth season under head coach Mark Dantonio, the Spartans compiled an 11–2 record, outscored opponents by a total of 383 to 290, and tied for the Big Ten championship. They lost to Alabama in the 2011 Capital One Bowl and were ranked No. 14 in the final AP and Coaches Polls.
