The 2023–24 Chicago Blackhawks season was the 98th season for the National Hockey League (NHL) franchise that was established on September 25, 1926. The Blackhawks were led by second-year head coach Luke Richardson. This was the first season since 2006–07 that Jonathan Toews was not on the roster as his contract expired at the end of the previous season. In addition, it was the first full-season since that same year without Patrick Kane after he was traded to the New York Rangers in February 2023.
