A. B. M. Ruhul Amin Howlader was a Jatiya Party politician and a former Jatiya Sangsad member representing the Patuakhali-1 constituency. Earlier he was an MP from the Barisal-6 constituency. Since 2020 to 2025 he had served as co-chairman of the Jatiya Party. In 7 July 2025 he has been expelled from the party due to breaking the party rules.
