The AEG R.I was a prototype biplane heavy bomber aircraft built by the Allgemeine Elektricitäts-Gesellschaft (AEG) during the First World War for the Imperial German Army's Imperial German Air Service. It made its first flight in mid-1918 and only one of the eight aircraft ordered was completed. That aircraft disintegrated in flight with the loss of all aboard shortly before the end of the war in November. The incomplete aircraft were scrapped.
