AFM Abul Fateh was a Bangladeshi diplomat and statesman He served as the founding director of Foreign Service Academy of Pakistan and the first Foreign Secretary of Bangladesh when it gained its independence in 1971. He was the senior most diplomat in the Mujibnagar Government. He served as an ambassador of Pakistan to Iraq and as an ambassador of Bangladesh to United Kingdom, France, and Algeria.
