Arup Patnaik is a retired Indian Police Service officer who served as the 36th Police Commissioner of Mumbai. He retired on 30 September 2015 after a 36-year career with the Maharashtra Police. He is a recipient of the President's Police Medal for Distinguished Service (2003) and the Indian Police Medal for Meritorious Services (1994).
