Askola is a municipality of Finland. It is located in the Uusimaa region. The municipality has a population of 4,704 and covers an area of 218.03 square kilometres (84.18 sq mi) of which 5.61 km2 (2.17 sq mi) is water. The population density is 22.14 inhabitants per square kilometre (57.3/sq mi). Monninkylä is the largest village of the municipality in terms of population.
