Bürger Schippel (1913) is a German comedy by Carl Sternheim, and part of his cycle of plays, "Aus dem bürgerlichen Heldenleben". Some of its characters, such as Heinrich Krey, appear in a number of Sternheim's works. However, as "Bürger Schippel" has a complete story arc, it can readily be performed as an individual piece in its own right.
