Brandval Municipality

Wikipedia Overview

Brandval is a former municipality in the old Hedmark county, Norway. The 529-square-kilometre (204 sq mi) municipality existed from 1867 until its dissolution in 1964. The area is now part of Kongsvinger Municipality in the traditional district of Solør. The administrative centre was the village of Brandval where Brandval Church is located. Other villages in the municipality included Lundersæter and Roverud.
