Claude Meisch is a Luxembourgish politician who has served as Minister of Education since 2013 in the successive governments of Xavier Bettel and Luc Frieden. He was a member of the Chamber of Deputies from 1999 to 2013 and Mayor of Differdange from 2002 to 2013. A member of the Democratic Party (DP) since 1994, he was the party's president from 2004 to 2013.
