In contrast, broader definitions include Moldova and Romania, and may also include some or all of Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Poland, Serbia, Slovakia and/or Slovenia. In Eastern Europe, Russia is the largest and most populous country.
