Gorzów County is a unit of territorial administration and local government (powiat) in Lubusz Voivodeship, western Poland. It came into being on 1 January 1999 as a result of the Polish local government reforms passed in 1998. Its administrative seat is the city of Gorzów Wielkopolski, although the city is not part of the county. The only towns in Gorzów County are Kostrzyn nad Odrą, which lies 43 km (27 mi) west of Gorzów Wielkopolski, and Witnica, 25 km (16 mi) west of Gorzów Wielkopolski.
