The hijacking of the Galaxy Leader occurred on November 19, 2023, when Yemen's Houthi rebels seized the Bahamian-flagged, Japanese-operated and British-owned cargo ship Galaxy Leader in the Red Sea near the Yemeni port of Hodeidah.
