Los Angeles has two supertall skyscrapers, buildings rising above 984 feet in height: Wilshire Grand Center, the tallest building in the city and in California, and the U.S. Bank Tower. Upon its completion in 1989, the US Bank Tower, at 1,018 feet (310 m), remained the tallest building in the city until Wilshire Grand Center was built in 2017 to a height of 1,100 feet (335.3 m).
