Dhaka North City Corporation is a local government authority responsible for administering all civic services in northern part of Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. The DNCC government is elected by popular vote every five years. The corporation is headed by a mayor, who oversees a council consisting of 72 councillors representing different wards of the city.
