The Pittsburgh City Paper is Pittsburgh's leading alternative weekly newspaper which focused on local news, opinion, and arts and entertainment. It bought out In Pittsburgh Weekly in 2001. As of April 2015, City Paper was the 14th largest alternative weekly in the United States. Under BCI, it ceased publication on December 31, 2025. However, under new ownership, the Paper resumed operations on March 19, 2026 with publishing dates to be announced soon.
