The Rauner Special Collections Library, housed in Webster Hall, is the primary special collections and archival library of Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. Originally constructed as an auditorium in 1907, the building was converted to a special collections library in 1998 and now holds 140,000 rare books, millions of manuscripts, and the archives of Dartmouth College. The original building is named for statesman and Dartmouth alum Daniel Webster, while the library is named for former Illinois governor Bruce Rauner and his wife Diana, who funded the library's construction.
