SA Best is a political party in South Australia. Founded in March 2017 by Australian senator Nick Xenophon as Nick Xenophon's SA-BEST, the party hoped to gain the balance of power at the 2018 South Australian state election. Positive initial polling figures led the party to stand candidates in 36 of 47 seats in South Australia's House of Assembly. However, at the state election, SA Best underperformed expectations, winning no seats in the House of Assembly, and only electing two members to the Legislative Council, Connie Bonaros and Frank Pangallo.
