USS Twiggs (DD-591) was a Fletcher-class destroyer of the United States Navy during World War II. She was the second ship to be named for Major Levi Twiggs (1793–1847) of the United States Marine Corps. Twiggs was laid down on 20 January 1943 at the Charleston Navy Yard and launched on 7 April 1943. The destroyer was commissioned on 4 November 1943. She was sunk on 16 June 1945 by a Japanese kamikaze aircraft near Okinawa.
